Roskilde, Denmark, 07 May 2024 – The meeting was held at the historic Hotel Prindsen built in 1695.
The sustainable shipping seminar was held in Roskilde, Denmark due to the efforts by the city and Roskilde University supporting reduction of greenhouse emissions. Roskilde University has created the “Centre for Maritime and Marine Research” to lead the sustainability efforts.
The seminar brought together investors and maritime experts. Participants included EMF’s Co-founder and Board Member, Martin Almdal; Chief Executive Officer, Benny Buchardt and Chief Investment Officer, Torben Bager. The event also featured Jørn Bakkelund from Clarkson’s, the world’s largest ship broker.
