Vejle, Denmark, 16 May 2024 – The meeting was held at the historic Hotel Vejlefjord built in 1900.
The marine conference focused on environmental impact reductions was held in Vejle, Denmark due to the efforts by the Vejle and the University College Lillebælt (UCL) leading the marine industry. University College Lillebælt (UCL) has established a dedicated Marine College of Excellence, developing future leaders in the maritime sector. Vejle was once the second largest port in Denmark.
The seminar brought together investors and maritime experts. Participants included EMF’s Co-founder and Board Member, Martin Almdal; Chief Executive Officer, Benny Buchardt, Chairman of the Green Transition, Investment Committee and Chief Operating Officer, Stephen Schueler and Chief Investment Officer, Torben Bager. The event also featured Jørn Bakkelund from Clarkson’s, the world’s largest ship broker. Jørn is globally recognized for his shipping insights and regularly quoted as an expert in his field.
