Stephen Schueler, Chairman of Green Transition and Chief Operating Officer, European Maritime Finance Judge in this years Posidonia United States Shark Tank

Athens, Greece, 17th June, 2024.  
 

Stephen Schueler, Chairman of Green Transition and Chief Operating Officer, European Maritime Finance was a Judge at this year’s Posidonia Shark Tank. Posidonia is the world’s largest global shipping conference which occurs every second year. During this year’s event was the Trading in US Waters Shark Tank selecting the best companies focused on sustainable zero carbon shipping and improvement of the maritime industry.

The conference included the following notable participants and organizations: US Embassy in Athens, International Propellor Group, Hellenic Chamber of Shipping, Christos Styliandes, Minister, Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Koichi Ito Ambassador Embassy of Japan in Greece; Joe Hughes, American P&I Club; Christopher Wiernicki, Chairman and CEO American Bureau of Shipping (ABS); Christian Berg, Managing Director Amogy; Nicholas Liapis, President, Hellenic Institute of Marine Technology, Wayne Arguin Jr., Rear Admiral and Carleen Lyden Walker, International Maritime Organization. 

The event was focused on sustainable shipping, achieving the International Maritime Organization (IMO) carbon net zero targets and improving the global maritime industry.
