De siste sanksjonene retter seg mot mellommenn, inspeksjonsselskaper og tankskip som anklages for \u00e5 skjule opprinnelsen til iransk r\u00e5olje.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Mulig gevinst for ikke-sanksjonerte tankskip<\/strong><br \/>Med strengere h\u00e5ndheving og \u00f8kt oppmerksomhet fra myndighetene kan kinesiske raffinerier bli tvunget til \u00e5 redusere sine importvolumer av iransk olje og i stedet hente forsyninger fra andre leverand\u00f8rer \u2013 trolig fra Atlanterhavsomr\u00e5det og andre sanksjonsfrie regioner, et handelsm\u00f8nster vi har sett \u00f8ke i det siste. Denne omdirigeringen f\u00f8rer til lengre reiseruter, noe som \u00f8ker tonne-mile ettersp\u00f8rselen og st\u00f8tter fraktratene, s\u00e6rlig i VLCC- og Suezmax-segmentene.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">USA har tidligere uttalt at m\u00e5let er \u00e5 eliminere Irans oljeeksport p\u00e5 rundt 1,7 millioner fat per dag.
