Mange ejere v\u00e6lger derfor at oml\u00e6gge deres ruter via Kap Det Gode H\u00e5b, hvilket \u00f8ger sejlafstandene og mindsker udbuddet af skibe.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Trump modstander af IMO\u2019s klimatraktat<\/strong><br \/>I USA har pr\u00e6sident Trump fornyet sin kritik af IMO\u2019s nuludledningsplan, som han betegnede som en \u201cverdensomsp\u00e6ndende CO\u2082-afgift\u201d, mens han truede med modforanstaltninger mod deltagende nationer. En amerikansk afvisning kan if\u00f8lge analytikere sv\u00e6kke IMO\u2019s autoritet og forsinke den internationale implementering af nye br\u00e6ndstofkrav og CO\u2082-priss\u00e6tning fra 2027. Det \u00f8ger usikkerheden omkring tempoet for indf\u00f8relsen af de nye regler, selv om skibsejere og befragtere fortsat p\u00e5peger, at gr\u00f8n omstilling er en n\u00f8gle til at bevare konkurrencedygtighed.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Ukraine-fredsforhandlinger har implikationer for markedet<br \/><\/strong>Desuden tiltrak diplomatiske udviklinger mellem USA, Rusland og Ukraine sig opm\u00e6rksomhed. Trumps m\u00f8der med b\u00e5de Putin og Zelensky i Alaska satte igen fokus p\u00e5 fredsforhandlinger. Markedet overvejede muligheden for, at fremskridt kunne f\u00f8re til, at sanktioner mod Rusland lempes \u2013 hvilket vil f\u00f8re til st\u00f8rre globalt udbud.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hvis krigen mellem Rusland og Ukraine skulle slutte, og sanktionerne mod russisk olie blev oph\u00e6vet, ville det presse tankmarkedet kraftigt i vejret. I dag transporteres de fleste af Ruslands ca. 5 mio. dagligt eksporterede t\u00f8nder via den s\u00e5kaldte \u201cskyggefl\u00e5de\u201d af \u00e6ldre tonnage, der opererer uden for det lovlydige marked og som regel ikke under vestlig myndighedskontrol. En fredsaftale ville sende den eksport tilbage i retning af den lovlydige fl\u00e5de.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Den forandring ville skabe \u00f8jeblikkelig v\u00e6kst i eftersp\u00f8rgslen p\u00e5 moderne, lovlydig tonnage, mens udbuddet af disse skibe ville forblive det samme. Resultatet ville formentlig v\u00e6re mangel p\u00e5 tankere til r\u00e5dighed, is\u00e6r inden for Aframax- og Suezmax-segmenterne, der anvendes ivrigt til handel med Rusland.
