The vessels, North Star and Viking Star, each have a deadweight capacity of 157,000 tons and are currently under construction at Daehan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in South Korea.<\/p><p>The EMF managed sub-fund Blue Harmony III under EMF AIF-SIKAV is a part owner of the vessels. Investors in the sub-fund are set to profit from the transaction. Furthermore, the sub-fund has already taken delivery of two other Suezmax tankers that form part of the sub-fund\u2019s asset portfolio, both chartered to a substantial counterparty at attractive daily rates. Overall, the sub-fund is on track to deliver attractive performance to its investors.<\/p><p><u>Transaction Overview<\/u><\/p><p>The acquisition agreements provide for an individual purchase price of USD 97 million per vessel. The vessels are scheduled for delivery from the Shipyard in January 2026 and the sale is expected to be completed\u00a0in full\u00a0upon the delivery, subject to\u00a0the\u00a0satisfaction of agreed\u00a0closing conditions.<\/p><p><u>About European Maritime Finance<\/u><\/p><p>European Maritime Finance, is a Danish-headquartered investment management firm licensed by the Danish FSA, specializing in maritime investments. It acts as a bridge between ship-owners seeking capital and professional investors looking for direct exposure to the shipping sector, with a stated focus on vessel quality and sustainable shipping assets. The vessels are two\u00a0in a series\u00a0of eight Suezmax vessels in EMF\u2019s managed\u00a0investment vehicles.
