ClarkSea-indekset svingede i l\u00f8bet af januar, men l\u00e5 stabilt over gennemsnittet for en l\u00e6ngere periode, hvilket understreger, at faldene p\u00e5 det seneste har afspejlet en normalisering, ikke en egentlig sv\u00e6kkelse af markedsforholdene. Et m\u00e6ttet oliemarked bidrager fortsat til h\u00f8j udnyttelse af tankkapaciteten, selv om oliepriserne holdes nede af overforsyningen.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Geopolitik og Kina p\u00e5virker eftersp\u00f8rgslen p\u00e5 tankskibe<br \/><\/strong>Geopolitiske forhold har v\u00e6ret en central mekanisme for b\u00e5de markedsoptimisme og ustabilitet. Kina var fortsat en afg\u00f8rende faktor for tankmarkedets udvikling, da landets handelspolitik afg\u00f8r, om sanktionsramte laster fortsat m\u00e5 transporteres af skibe fra skyggefl\u00e5den, eller skal erstattes af ikke-sanktionsramt olie fra andre leverand\u00f8rer.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Venezuelas tilbagevenden medf\u00f8rer v\u00e6sentligt lavere fl\u00e5deudbud<br \/><\/strong>Udviklingen i Venezuela udgjorde et reelt strukturelt skifte for tankmarkedet. USA\u2019s indgreb med henblik p\u00e5 at genindf\u00f8re venezuelansk r\u00e5olie i den almindelige handel, hvor Vitol og Trafigura har f\u00e5et tilladelse til at s\u00e6lge op mod 50 mio. t\u00f8nder, udg\u00f8r et opg\u00f8r med de mere uigennemsigtige handelsstr\u00f8mme, der historisk har v\u00e6ret afh\u00e6ngig af \u00e6ldre skibe fra skyggefl\u00e5den. De f\u00f8rste laster er blevet sendt til den amerikanske golfkyst og caribiske lagre, og yderligere eksport ventes, efterh\u00e5nden som diverse flaskehalse afvikles.
