Raterne blev prim\u00e6rt l\u00f8ftet af et begr\u00e6nset udbud af tonnage i Atlanterhavet, hvor flittig chartering fra Mellem\u00f8sten og den amerikanske golfkyst mindskede den tilg\u00e6ngelige fl\u00e5de.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Kanaludgifter \u00f8ger fortsat ton-mil-eftersp\u00f8rgslen<br \/><\/strong>Konstante h\u00f8je omkostninger ved Panamakanalen forblev en central strukturel drivkraft og pressede flere VLGC\u2019er over p\u00e5 l\u00e6ngere ruter via Kap Det Gode H\u00e5b \u2013 en tendens, der m\u00e5 forventes at blive mere udbredt i de kommende \u00e5r. Samtidig n\u00f8d VLAC-markederne godt af strukturelt stigende eksport af ethan og LPG, hvilket forst\u00e6rker eftersp\u00f8rgslen som f\u00f8lge af industri- og petrokemisk forbrug og mindsker den kortsigtede ustabilitet i spotpriser.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Kortsigtede udsving \u00e6ndrer ikke den overordnede retning<br \/><\/strong>Den afd\u00e6mpning, der indtraf sidst p\u00e5 m\u00e5neden, var udtryk for midlertidige fald i lasttilg\u00e6ngelighed og aktivitet i vestlige havomr\u00e5der, snarere end en forandring i markedsforholdene.
