SSY, one of the world\u2019s largest shipbrokers, notes that tonne mile demand has recently outpaced fleet growth, tightening supply demand balances, while Fearnleys continues to highlight tight vessel availability. At the same time, newbuilding activity is increasingly centred on ammonia-capable VLAC designs, signalling a structural shift in fleet composition ahead of expected ammonia trade growth.
