Med Den Persiske Golf reelt lukket n\u00e5ede indtjeningen for r\u00e5olietankere niveauer, der ikke er set i \u00e5revis. Drivkraften var ikke en generel v\u00e6kst i eftersp\u00f8rgsel, men en markant geografisk forskydning: Med stort set ingen transporter fra Mellem\u00f8sten befandt de begr\u00e6nsede globale fragtm\u00e6ngder sig i havne ved Atlanterhavet, is\u00e6r USA, hvor tonnageudbuddet var beskedent.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Omkring 90 VLCC\u2019er, svarende til cirka 13 procent af den aktive fl\u00e5de, sejlede derfor mod vest i forventning om en l\u00e6ngerevarende lukning, hvilket \u00f8gede antallet af VLCC\u2019er i Atlanten til rekordh\u00f8je 65 skibe. For rederier, der sikrede chartringer i den mest pressede periode, var afkastet exceptionelt h\u00f8jt. Men det underliggende signal handlede om positionering og kapacitetsmangel \u2013 ikke et strukturelt l\u00f8ft i eftersp\u00f8rgslen.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>V\u00e5benhvile skaber risiko for prisjusteringer; VLCC\u2019er er mest udsatte for korrektioner<\/strong><br \/>V\u00e5benhvilen fra den 7. april mellem USA, Israel og Iran forbedrede i f\u00f8rste omgang de kortsigtede forventninger til tankraterne. Situationen er dog fortsat uafklaret, da en blokade af Hormuzstr\u00e6det fra begge sider n\u00e6rmest har forhindret al tanktrafik gennem farvandet. Iran meddelte kortvarigt den 17. april, at str\u00e6det var \u00e5bent, og forh\u00e5ndschartringer til forh\u00f8jede rater tydede p\u00e5 en mulig tilbagevenden for transport gennem Golfen. Denne gen\u00e5bning blev dog kortvarig, og uroen bidrager fortsat til et st\u00e6rkt tankmarked.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Med begr\u00e6nset adgang til Golfen er flere r\u00e5olietankere nu omdirigeret til Atlanten, hvilket har medf\u00f8rt en vis afmatning i raterne d\u00e9r. Samlet set forbliver markedsforholdene dog st\u00e6rke, underbygget af \u00e6ndrede handelsm\u00f8nstre og robust eftersp\u00f8rgsel. Tankraterne forventes at forblive h\u00f8je, selv med en vis normalisering, afh\u00e6ngigt af hvor hurtigt skibe vender tilbage til Golfen, og eksportstr\u00f8mmene genoprettes.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Normalisering af rater sandsynlig, men strukturelt forts\u00e6tter medvinden trods uro<\/strong><br \/>OPEC+ er fortsat ved at afvikle sine produktionsnedsk\u00e6ringer: Mere end 2 millioner t\u00f8nder pr. dag er blevet tilf\u00f8jet markedet siden starten p\u00e5 den gradvise tilbagerulning, hvilket konkret gavner udnyttelsen af r\u00e5olietankere. Amerikansk r\u00e5olieeksport n\u00e5ede et nyt rekordniveau i l\u00f8bet af m\u00e5neden, da k\u00f8bere i \u00d8sten, som normalt k\u00f8ber r\u00e5olie fra Golfen, var n\u00f8dt til at finde alternative leverand\u00f8rer \u2013 en udvikling, der n\u00e6ppe vil vende tilbage til tidligere tilstande, selv efter en gen\u00e5bning af Hormuz, da infrastrukturen vil tage tid at genopbygge.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Samtidig meddelte De Forenede Arabiske Emirater i slutningen af april, at de vil forlade OPEC\/OPEC+ den 1. maj med henvisning til nationale interesser og et \u00f8nske om at im\u00f8dekomme markedets eftersp\u00f8rgsel. Beslutningen f\u00f8lger stigende sp\u00e6ndinger, da landet har investeret massivt i at \u00f8ge produktionskapaciteten til 5,0 millioner t\u00f8nder pr. dag inden 2027 \u2013 betydeligt over dets nuv\u00e6rende kvote p\u00e5 3,447 millioner t\u00f8nder pr. dag.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beslutningen forventes med tiden at medf\u00f8re h\u00f8jere olieproduktion og eksportm\u00e6ngder. Den kan ogs\u00e5 udl\u00f8se spekulation om, hvorvidt andre medlemmer vil genoverveje deres medlemskab.
