VLCC ratene holdt seg s\u00e6rlig sterke, st\u00f8ttet av endrede handelsm\u00f8nstre og fortsatt usikkerhet rundt eksport fra Gulfen. Samtidig var aktiviteten mer variert for Suezmax og Aframax i flere sentrale regioner. Det overordnede tankbildet er likevel fortsatt solid, med begrensede handelsstr\u00f8mmer, endret skipssysselsetting og lengre tonnmil som st\u00f8tter inntjeningen.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>LPG\/VLGC: Rekordh\u00f8ye rater drevet av mangel p\u00e5 tilgjengelige skip<br \/><\/strong>VLGC markedet var ukens klare vinner, med spotinntjening p\u00e5 nye rekordniv\u00e5er som f\u00f8lge av sv\u00e6rt begrenset tilgjengelig tonnasje. Houston\u2013Chiba ratene n\u00e6rmet seg USD 180 000 per dag, drevet av f\u00e5 \u00e5pne skip, h\u00f8ye kostnader gjennom Panamakanalen og fortsatt forstyrrelse i de normale LPG handelsm\u00f8nstrene. Aktiviteten avtok noe etter hvert som befraktere vurderte l\u00f8nnsomheten ved dagens fraktniv\u00e5er, men markedet er fortsatt tydelig st\u00f8ttet av knapphet p\u00e5 skip og mangel p\u00e5 umiddelbar tilbudsvekst. En eventuell gjen\u00e5pning av Hormuzstredet kan redusere deler av dagens risikop\u00e5slag, men forel\u00f8pig fremst\u00e5r VLGC fundamentene som sv\u00e6rt sterke.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>PCTC: Stramt marked fortsetter p\u00e5 sentrale handelsruter<br \/><\/strong>Benchmarkraten for 6 500 CEU PCTC kontrakter med seks til tolv m\u00e5neders varighet steg til USD 55 000 per dag. Det tilsvarer en oppgang p\u00e5 13 prosent sammenlignet med gjennomsnittet de foreg\u00e5ende tre m\u00e5nedene, og markerer en videre bedring fra bunniv\u00e5ene mot slutten av 2025. Kinesisk bileksport er fortsatt den viktigste driveren p\u00e5 ettersp\u00f8rselssiden, hvor eksport av elbiler i \u00f8kende grad fortrenger tradisjonelle bilstr\u00f8mmer med forbrenningsmotorer. Ordreboken for PCTC markedet best\u00e5r av rundt 137 skip, tilsvarende om lag 18 prosent av dagens fl\u00e5te. Flertallet av leveringene er planlagt fra 2027 og utover, noe som holder tilbudsveksten begrenset p\u00e5 kort sikt og st\u00f8tter dagens ratemarked gjennom resten av 2026.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Geopolitikk: Xi og Trump avsluttet toppm\u00f8te uten handelsavtale eller l\u00f8sning for Hormuz<br \/><\/strong>Geopolitisk usikkerhet fortsatte \u00e5 prege fraktmarkedene denne uken. Toppm\u00f8tet mellom Xi og Trump endte uten en st\u00f8rre handelsavtale eller tydelig fremgang rundt Hormuzstredet, samtidig som USA innf\u00f8rte ytterligere sanksjoner knyttet til oljehandelen mellom Iran og Kina. Den fysiske trafikken gjennom Hormuz \u00f8kte kun marginalt, til rundt 14 skip per dag sammenlignet med omtrent 125 f\u00f8r konflikten. Brentoljen steg rundt 9 prosent fra uken f\u00f8r til cirka USD 109 per fat, drevet av fortsatt bekymring rundt tilbudssiden.
