Den samlede inntjeningen i tankmarkedet falt samtidig med 12 prosent fra forrige uke til rundt 61 000 dollar per dag.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nedgangen skyldes f\u00f8rst og fremst lavere lasteaktivitet snarere enn forbedringer i Hormuzsituasjonen, spesielt i Midt\u00f8sten hvor sv\u00e6rt begrenset aktivitet gj\u00f8r at mange ratevurderinger i stor grad er teoretiske.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Amerikansk r\u00e5oljeeksport n\u00e5dde 5,6 millioner fat per dag i uken som endte 15. mai, det nest h\u00f8yeste niv\u00e5et noensinne registrert. Dette har delvis kompensert for bortfallet av eksportvolumer fra Gulfen, men ikke v\u00e6rt nok til \u00e5 stoppe den generelle rateutviklingen. Samtidig har kapasitetsutnyttelsen ved kinesiske statlige raffinerier falt til 67 prosent, ettersom vedlikeholdsarbeid fremskyndes som f\u00f8lge av begrenset r\u00e5oljetilgang og svak innenlandsk ettersp\u00f8rsel.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Forventninger om mulige fredsforhandlinger i Midt\u00f8sten har bidratt til \u00e5 stabilisere markedssentimentet, men uten \u00f8kte transportvolumer eller fremgang mot en gjen\u00e5pning av Hormuzstredet, ser inntjeningen ut til \u00e5 kunne falle videre fra dagens fortsatt h\u00f8ye niv\u00e5er.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>LPG\/VLGC: Spotratene stiger til nye rekordniv\u00e5er<br \/><\/strong>VLGC inntjeningen steg ytterligere 6 prosent denne uken til rundt 186 000 dollar per dag, 17 prosent over forrige rekord fra september 2023. Bakgrunnen er en akutt mangel p\u00e5 tilgjengelig tonnasje i Atlanterhavet, som har presset ratene opp til niv\u00e5er som utfordrer l\u00f8nnsomheten for enkelte befraktere.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Listen over tilgjengelige skip i Mexicogulfen for juni lasting best\u00e5r n\u00e5 av kun fem bekreftede skip, hvorav fire er tilgjengelige helt mot slutten av m\u00e5neden.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">K\u00f8ene i Panamakanalen har samtidig forsterket markedet ytterligere. Ventetiden for dyphavsskip ligger rundt 75 prosent over gjennomsnittet i 2025, noe som tvinger flere skip til \u00e5 velge ruten rundt Kapp det gode h\u00e5p. Dette binder opp ytterligere tonnasje og reduserer den effektive fl\u00e5tekapasiteten. Aktiviteten i Midt\u00f8sten er fortsatt sv\u00e6rt begrenset som f\u00f8lge av situasjonen i Hormuzstredet.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>PCTC: 1 \u00e5r TC rater p\u00e5 55 000 dollar per dag<br \/><\/strong>Bilskipmarkedet styrket seg denne uken, med 6 til 12 m\u00e5neders timecharterrater for moderne skip p\u00e5 6 500 CEU som \u00f8kte til 55 000 dollar per dag, opp fra rundt 50 000 dollar per dag de siste m\u00e5nedene.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oppgangen reflekterer fortsatt begrenset tilgjengelig tonnasje kombinert med stabil ettersp\u00f8rsel etter bileksport, s\u00e6rlig fra asiatiske produsenter. Ordreboken best\u00e5r i dag av 137 skip, tilsvarende rundt 18 prosent av den eksisterende fl\u00e5ten. De fleste leveringene er planlagt i 2027 og 2028, noe som betyr at vesentlig ny kapasitet fortsatt ligger et stykke frem i tid.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PCTC segmentet er samtidig relativt skjermet fra forstyrrelsene i Hormuzstredet, ettersom Midt\u00f8sten prim\u00e6rt er et importmarked for biler. Den st\u00f8rste risikoen er fortsatt en bredere \u00f8konomisk nedgang som svekker ettersp\u00f8rselen i Europa og Nord Amerika, s\u00e6rlig dersom h\u00f8ye energipriser og inflasjon fortsetter \u00e5 presse husholdningenes kj\u00f8pekraft.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Geopolitikk: Hormuztrafikken fortsatt kraftig redusert mens Panamakanalen skaper nye flaskehalser<br \/><\/strong>Trafikken gjennom Hormuzstredet holdt seg p\u00e5 rundt ti skip per dag forrige uke, fortsatt mer enn 90 prosent under niv\u00e5ene f\u00f8r konflikten. Det er fortsatt f\u00e5 tegn til en snarlig gjen\u00e5pning. Brent olje har stabilisert seg rundt 100 dollar per fat etter hvert som markedet har tilpasset seg alternative forsyningsruter.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Redusert raffineringsaktivitet i Kina og lavere eksport av oljeprodukter fra Asia legger fortsatt press p\u00e5 transportvolumene, mens k\u00f8ene i Panamakanalen f\u00f8rer til at flere VLGCer velger ruten rundt Kapp det gode h\u00e5p, noe som ytterligere reduserer tilgjengelig tonnasje.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">P\u00e5 kort sikt fremst\u00e5r utsiktene som balanserte.
