En stigende andel af disse laster rejser nu via Kap det Gode H\u00e5b i stedet for Panamakanalen, hvilket n\u00e6sten fordobler rejsetiderne og reducerer det effektive udbud af skibe grundet l\u00e6ngere sejldistancer. Resultatet er en kraftig stramning af tilg\u00e6ngelig tonnage, som har presset VLGC-spotraterne til rekordh\u00f8je niveauer og mere end fordoblet de gennemsnitlige rateniveauer siden lukningen begyndte.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Ratemilj\u00f8et forbliver solidt med en Hormuz-aftale som den vigtigste variabel<br \/><\/strong>Med stramme positionslister og befragtere, der k\u00e6mper om tonnage langt ind i juni, er der ingen kortsigtet udbudslettelse i sigte. Den prim\u00e6re risiko mod det nuv\u00e6rende rateniveau er en Hormuz-aftale: \u00e5bner Hormuz-str\u00e6det igen, falder den pr\u00e6mie, der aktuelt b\u00e6rer indtjeningen.
