De forente arabiske emirater har annonsert sin f\u00f8rste r\u00f8rledning for raffinerte produkter til Fujairah, mens Irak planlegger \u00e5 \u00f8ke r\u00e5oljeeksporten gjennom Ceyhan til rundt 0,8 millioner fat per dag innen midten av august. Sammen med flere andre initiativer kan den samlede r\u00f8rledningskapasiteten som omg\u00e5r Hormuz \u00f8ke fra om lag 6,5 millioner fat per dag til n\u00e6rmere 10 millioner over tid.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Et konstruktivt signal med begrensede konsekvenser for tankmarkedet<br \/><\/strong>For tankmarkedet representerer dette f\u00f8rst og fremst en gradvis tilpasning snarere enn en umiddelbar trussel mot inntjeningen. Det tar tid \u00e5 bygge ut r\u00f8rledninger, og oljen m\u00e5 fortsatt transporteres videre med skip til Asia og Europa. Den umiddelbare effekten p\u00e5 transportvolumene er derfor begrenset.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">P\u00e5 mellomlang sikt vil en st\u00f8rre andel olje som n\u00e5r kysten utenfor Hormuz gradvis redusere den ekstra ettersp\u00f8rselen etter tonnmil som dagens omdirigeringer skaper. Samtidig vil r\u00e5oljelasting fra Ceyhan i Middelhavet st\u00f8tte sysselsettingen for b\u00e5de Suezmax- og Aframax-skip. Olje som eksporteres via Fujairah utenfor Hormuz vil p\u00e5 sin side bidra til fortsatt h\u00f8y aktivitet for VLCC-er og mindre r\u00e5oljeskip.
