Since 2009, the tanker market has for a significant time been broken, earnings have been weak and the upswings that have been talked about have not had a solid foundation. But from the end of Q4 2018, there was a healthy volatility return to the market and the shipping companies were left with super profits. We believe that the tanker market is best positioned for further rapid growth the upcoming years.
European Maritime Finance held two seminars on the investment opportunities in the tanker market last week in Stavanger. The main topic at the seminars was how to take advantage of the current super cycle in the tanker market. The seminar was followed by an Ice Hockey match at our DNB Arena lounge.
