Alan has held several management positions in the EMF Group incl. CFO, Board Member, Compliance Officer and Portfolio Manager. Responsibilities include structuring investments in more than $1.9 bill. Vessel investments.
Chairman of Green Transition
Stephen is Chairman of the Green Transition for the Investment Committee.
Stephen has a background as Chief Commercial Officer at Mærsk with responsibility for 388 offices in 160 countries and member of the Executive Board. He has also been CEO for Safmarine Shipping Line. He was previously Head of Global Sales and Marketing at Microsoft and Head of Global Operations at Procter & Gamble.
Investment Advisory Board Member
Torben is CIO at EMF A/S. He has more than 30 years of experience from shipping and an extensive international network.
Torben has held several top management positions at global shipping companies like SVP at TORM, EVP at Hafnia Tankers and Navig8 Chemical Tankers. Torben was part of the management team founding Hafnia Tankers, which has developed into a global shipping company.

Klaus Kjærulff has spent most of his professional career 33 years at Torm AS in Copenhagen, where he has held various positions as Head of Tanker Division, and served as CEO from 2000 to 2008.
Today, Klaus Kjærulff is a partner in Vincent Shipping A/S in Oslo, Chairman of Assurance association Skuld in Oslo, member of the board of NTR Holding A/S, Copenhagen and member of the board of European Maritime Finance A/S, Copenhagen.

Co-founder and Board Member
Martin Almdal is co-founder of EMF and has solid experience in project finance and maritime investment, with a clear focus on sustainability.
With more than 26 years of experience in project finance and a decade dedicated to marine investments, his deep insight into capital markets and strategic leadership since 2014 has strengthened his position as a well- respected expert in the maritime sector.
Martin has also worked on selected property projects, but his primary focus is on maritime finance and investment, highlighting his international credibility and visionary approach.

Ulrikke Ekelund has +25 years of experience primarily from the financial sector, 17 of them in leadership positions.
Ulrikke has a master’s degree in political science, was chief economist at BRFkredit and SVP at PensionDanmark, and has worked in the intersection of economics, communication and stakeholder management.
She is a non-executive board member at European Maritime Finance, Finansiel Stabilitet, Floating Power Plant, SunStone Maritime Group A/S and Varefakta Foundation, Chair of Advisory Board Communication and representative of the Shareholder Agreement at Floating Power Plant, member of the board of Representatives at Realdania, delegate at AP Pension and member at the Regional Advisory Board of Arbejdernes Landsbank.
Board Member
Niels Bang has more than 30 years of experience advising on and negotiating M&A transactions, mergers and restructurings.
He has extensive board experience and actively contributes on organizational and business matters. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of BankInvest and Gorrissen Federspiel, and as a member of the Board of Directors of Borealis Insurance.
His financial sector experience includes advising on major mergers, acquisitions and restructurings involving leading institutions such as Codan Forsikring, Nordea, TopDanmark Liv, Danske Bank, C WorldWide Asset Management, JØP and DIP, Tryg, Alm Brand and Risk Point.
