The Board of Directors recommends attorney Rune Aagaard, who is a partner in Mazanti-Andersen, to join the Board of Directors of the asset manager European Maritime Finance A/S. Rune Aagaard has considerable experience from the shipping and transport sector, including legal matters within purchase and sale, chartering and financing of ships, shipbuilding and shipbuilding contracts, as well as financing and corporate law. Rune Aagaard will step in when the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority has completed a fit and proper assessment.

European Maritime Finance, in partnership with Atlas Maritime, is excited to announce the successful sale and delivery of Green Star, a dual-fuel LNG Pure Car Truck Carrier (PCTC) capable of carrying 7,000 cars. The Green Star represents a significant advancement in maritime transport, uniquely designed to utilize Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) as a cleaner fuel alternative compared to fuel oil. May 21st, 2025 Atlas Maritime and European Maritime Finance (EMF) have today announced the successful delivery of their eighth Aframax/LR2 tanker from Daehan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in South Korea, marking a key milestone in the companies’ landmark $1 billion newbuilding program.
