EMF visits Geneva Star in Greece

Our newest Suezmax was officially named this month

EMF had the opportunity to visit Geneva Star this November in Athens, Greece. We attended her formal naming ceremony in collaboration with our operational partner, Atlas Maritime, headquartered in Athens. We would like to thank our investors for their continued support in us.

EMF announces sale of two Suezmax newbuilding resales to Okeanis Eco Tankers Corp.
European Maritime Finance (EMF), in partnership with Atlas Maritime Ltd., proudly announces the sale of two Suezmax tanker newbuildings  to Okeanis Eco Tankers at a record-breaking price of USD 97 million per vessel. The vessels, North Star and Viking Star, each have a deadweight capacity of 157,000 tons and are currently under construction at Daehan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in South Korea.

The EMF managed sub-fund Blue Harmony III, under the EMF AIF-SIKAV structure, is a partowner of the vessels. Investors in the sub-fund are set to profit from the transaction. Furthermore, the sub-fund has already taken delivery of two other Suezmax tankers that form part of the sub-fund’s asset portfolio, both chartered to a substantial counterparty at attractive daily rates. Overall, the sub-fund is on track to deliver attractive performance to its investors.
