The EMF way

European Maritime Finance is an AIFM approved fund management company focused on maritime investments. The company was founded in 2014

Our objective was to create a bridge between shipowners seeking to raise capital and professional investors who aimed to take advantage of the cyclical characteristics of the maritime world

In 2018, our Copenhagen headquarters was established due to our ever-growing Scandinavian client base – and our ambition to accelerate growth. Through a local presence, we are better suited to service clients throughout the Nordic region.

By working closely with established shipowners, fleet operators, and shipyards, our clients have been able to participate in various secondhand and newbuilding projects in both tankers and dry bulk vessels. After several years of impressive results, we have developed solid relationships with our partners and investors, as well as commercial and technical managers within various shipping segments.

We are proud to represent a network of world-leading shipowners and market participants representing the right opportunities at the right time for our clients. Depending on the client’s requirements, we provide in-depth due diligence, create corporate structures, administrate projects, and provide daily administration.

Our portfolio is well-diversified, and we continuously seek to expand within the traditional shipping segments including tankers, car carriers and Ammonia/LPG vessels.

We actively support the industry’s transition to cleaner fuel and greener solutions, further improving the environment for future generations and enabling global commerce.
