European Maritime Finance (EMF) recently welcomed representatives from HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and Clarksons to its headquarters at Kongens Nytorv in Copenhagen.
The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen the ongoing cooperation between EMF and its partners and discuss the progress of the three 88,000 m³ dual-fuel LPG/VLAC carriers currently under construction at HD Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan, South Korea.
The three vessels represent an important part of EMF’s investment activities within the gas carrier segment. Designed with an advanced dual capability, the vessels will be capable of transporting both liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and ammonia, providing greater operational flexibility.
HD Hyundai Heavy Industries is one of the world’s leading shipbuilders, recognised for its technical expertise, advanced shipbuilding capabilities and high standards of quality.
EMF values its strong relationship with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and looks forward to the delivery of the three vessels. The company also appreciates the continued cooperation with Clarksons, a leading global provider of shipping services and market intelligence.
The visit underlined the importance of strong industry partnerships in developing and managing EMF’s investments in modern shipping assets.
