2025 has proven to be the busiest year for EMF since our establishment in 2018. Not only have we welcomed more new investors than ever before into the EMF family, but we have also completed several deliveries and sales, and placed vessels on time charter with some of the world’s largest oil and commodity majors. In 2025 alone, EMF’s managed and administered entities took delivery of eight vessels in total: four Aframax/LR2s, two PCTCs, and two Suezmaxes. All of these vessels

Geneva Star (HN5099) is a state-of-the-art, 274-meter Suezmax vessel currently on a one-year charter with a major operator. The vessel has a cargo capacity of 157,000 DWT. The Board of Directors recommends attorney Rune Aagaard, who is a partner in Mazanti-Andersen, to join the Board of Directors of the asset manager European Maritime Finance A/S. Rune Aagaard has considerable experience from the shipping and transport sector, including legal matters within purchase and sale, chartering and financing of ships, shipbuilding and shipbuilding contracts, as well as financing and corporate law. Rune Aagaard will step in when the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority has completed a fit and proper assessment.
